Kingom Hearts II reviews start imports to US

Kingdom Hearts II Screenshot 3Japanese gamers always seem to have things better than the rest gaming world. Japan once again was rewarded recently when Square Enix released Kingdom Hearts II, a the sequel to the Disney action-RPG released 3 years ago. Thousands of miles away and a totally different language couldn't keep GameBrink from getting their hands on an import copy of the game, harping on the game's more expansive world, improved camera and battle system, and "unforgettable, intense, and spectacular looking" boss fights.

Siliconera, another import gaming website, has also imported the game and have this review (caution: spoilers) to offer, and say that "Kingdom Hearts II expands on the first game in almost everyway."

Kingdom Hearts II is expected to arrive in March 2006 in the US and in Europe in Spring 2006.

Kingdom Hearts II Emerges from the Cloaked Shadows

Kingdom Hearts II Screenshot 1To date, Square Enix has been more tight-lipped about Kingdom Hearts II than government agents are with nuclear armament codes. Finally though, at E3 we got our first taste of what to expect from the highly anticipated sequel to the game that successfully blended Square and Disney characters.

The first thing that everyone will immediately notice is the maturation of Sora, the main protaganist from the first game. He now is sporting some fancy black duds, and doesn't appear quite as child-like as in Kingdom Hearts. The tone of the game has certainly darkened to some degree, as enigmatic cloaked figures were in abundance during movies shown for the game.
